Our client’s business operates within a nationwide franchise providing procurement consulting services. Their customer base is focused on the utilities industry but includes a significant number of local SME clients and a small number of national multi-site charitable organisations.

 

The Rokker team were brought in to identify opportunities for inclusion in an actionable roadmap of Minimum Viable Initiatives (MVIs)© to enable the company to double their turnover within three years.

Process

We ran a range of workshops with our client’s team, including a collective Unpacking Session, Value Proposition Canvas, ERRC, and SWOT Analyses based on our PRISM lens process methodology.

 

In-house desk research supplemented internal feedback with further understanding of the competitive landscape. We also conducted telephone interviews with their clients to gain deeper insight into their demographics, expectations, and past experiences. We also used our THRIVE questionnaire in conducting individual in-person interviews with all personnel, which meant we were able to observe internal procedures first-hand.

Solution

Our research enabled us to identify five key areas of opportunity to facilitate business growth. We broke these down into smaller actionable tasks (Minimum Viable Initiatives MVI’s) and mapped them across a 3-year actionable roadmap.

Outcome

We supported the client in actioning the roadmap we provided, which saw them not only achieve but exceed their £1m turnover target.
